My name is Adelaida, known to the world as Addie. I grew up in a household filled with music, a place where everyone danced.

I was raised by two of the most beautiful women, my grandmother and my precious mother in the City that never sleeps-- New York. They instilled in me, a sense of pride in our heritage. I learned about history, music and dance. Early on I caught the Dancing Fiebre'. To me music and dancing was the ways of the world.

I used to sit for hours listening to Salsa. I tried as a kid to embrace all that I could. This passion was seeded deep in my soul. I couldn't comprehend, at that time, that it was my path. All I knew was that it felt skin deep. I would wake in its rhythms and I would sleep to its movements. I loved to dance and it was the only way I wanted to live. I decided then, that I will dance my way through life and nothing would change my mind. Little did I know that my path would take me into this amazing journey? I danced physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I carried every lesson internally with every dance that I had. No two dances were ever alike, for each was from a different passion than the one before. Every dance for me represents a new birth and with every birth a new beginning and with every beginning, a new path. These paths have brought me closer to inner peace, which in today's world, one rarely finds. I felt, after each performance, each dance, whether in public or private, took me deeper to my strength. I felt that I owned the secret or perhaps, the magic to this path. After countless of successful performances, triumphs and magical paths, I felt compelled to share it with the world. I could keep this knowledge to myself but I discovered that through dancing one has a ceremony, celebrating peace and harmony. There is a trail one can find, when dancing, that leads to the beginning of your being.

Addie is also co-owner/founder of Razz M'Tazz Dance company and production, and Estrellas Nacientes Inc. along with her loving husband and leading man Mr. Razz M'Tazz himself Angel Rodriguez, SALSAWEB LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD WINNER year 2000.

She is a creature of her own universe, a divine goddess; one who captivates our soul through her energy and movements. She is a powerhouse and is always in control. She has talents and she knows it. She is reachable, yet remarkably untouchable.
She mystifies the air with a subtle force. Her confidence symbolizes music for its courses through her veins like a second heartbeat. In the sensual atmosphere of the dance floor, many will feel the slow birth of her passion. Her presence multiplies with every breath. She carries her sexiness like her second skin. She is an animal, a creature whose energy is never more alive than on the dance floor. She is all that, but above all…she rules!

Once upon a time, somewhere in the Lower East Side, a little Puerto Rican girl was born. As she grew, she became fascinated with her own moving image in the mirror. She loved to watch and imitate La Bomba de Puerto Rico, the Diva Iris Chacon. It was then that her dance passion began, with no time to waste and big dreams to follow. She fancied herself a butterfly, one with abundance of freedom in her soul. As her fascination with movements grew, she saw every musical instrument emerge through her body. Every rhythm found a place through her graceful steps. Her roots, deep in Puerto Rican heritage, prompted her to develop a "love affair" with Salsa. She learned to bathe in its core, to speak in its language and to communicate it through her body. She mastered her techniques by dancing to the music of the greatest Salseros in the world. As the years went by and her talents fine-tuned, she excelled into dancing "En Vivo" with the greatest Kings and Queens in the world of SALSA.
